System Administrator

5D Solutions is looking for System Administrator. The ideal candidate must be an expert in Network management and handling development environment.

Responsibilites

1. Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
2. Responsible to set up & maintain Linux Server, Active Directory, Development Environment, Network Monitoring, Bandwidth management & production data.
3. Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
4. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing the impact of issues
5. Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
6. Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
7. IT Asset procurement, physical tagging, allocation and maintenance
8. Setup servers on different development environment
9. Configuring Git and gitlab Server
10. Installation of LAMP ,WAMP and MAMP 
11. Setup/Managing Linux Servers on AWS
12. Configuring and maintaining mail server
13. Quick assistance on the System issues raised by the employees. 

Skills

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
• 1-3 years of network administration, or system administration experience
• System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other networks related fields are a plus
• Working knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu Server & Development Environment is must
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
